Modified Ripstik

Yep, these are the things you do when you're unemployed. I spent the last few days modifying my Ripstik caster board with some pretty sweet lighting, or as Homestar would say, "Sweedish Ground Effects!"

I added some EL Wire to the top of the board outlining the general shape. Then I put white LEDs on the bottom of the board that can either light solid or flash in a variety of patterns.

Here are some sweet pictures of the new board. And the best part is, during the day, it looks just like a normal Ripstik...you'd have to look really close to see the modifications. :-)

I think it looks pretty darn good, if I do say so myself. :-) And, finally, check out a video of the modified Ripstik in action:
