Writely is Here!

If you remember, Google bought Writely this past March and immediately closed off new registrations. Only those who signed up for Writely back when it was on its own were able to use it.

Well, now it's open again. And it's really quite amazing. It's certainly not Microsoft Word by any means, but it's a really great web-based word processor that allows some seriously cool colaboration and gives users a way to save their documents online and access them from anywhere. It autosaves every few seconds to ensure that nothing is ever lost.

I fully intend to give this service a try. I'll report back at the end of the week and let you know what I think. :-)
