CBS has started putting up billboards equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology. Anyone passing by with a Bluetooth cellphone can download trailers or clips from upcoming TV shows. The billboards are currently being tested in Manhattan subway stations.
I think this is a cool, innovative idea, which, if it works, could really make new advertising opportunities available. Minority Report anyone?
